Sustenance in between the slot playSnax & Stix are the sole fast food options inside Valley View Casino, both occupying the same location - same lines for ordering & pickup. Stix Noodles & More provides Asian-inspired items for those not looking for the typical pizza & dogs.The menu is a mix of various cuisines. Sushi, pho, teriyaki bowls & various soup. Being the soup-loving son of a gun that I am, I chose the wonton soup ($6)-5 wonton, with carrots, cabbage, green onions, peas in chicken broth & including crunchy wonton wrappers. Stix sure went heavy-handed with the peas. Lots & lots of peas. I didn't know wonton soup was supposed to come with peas. Other than that, however, the soup did the job and warmed the soul. The wontons were of a good size with a fair amount of meat filling. The broth was salty & flavorful, which I sipped in between daydreams of winning it big & going on a trip to an exotic location by the beach, wearing extra snug Speedo's ;pThe wait for my soup wasn't long, even during lunch hour. Several tables available for dining, with scarcity depending upon the time of day.Stix Noodles & More offers up fair Asian cuisine. I wouldn't spend $8.50-$10 for their sushi rolls, nor their pho. Black&Blue is a contemporary American Steakhouse with Las Vegas flair, and a 21 and up dining experience. B&B was recently named San Diego’s “Most Romantic Steakhouse” by the San Diego Union Tribune, and most recently awarded as the Best Steak House Best Seafood by San Diego A-list! Delivery & Pickup Options - 991 reviews of Valley View Casino & Hotel 'Man this buffet rocks!! I am not a huge fan of the whole quantity vs quality of buffets, but I will have to say that this is the exception. I will even go so far as saying it is better than that overpriced buffet over at the Wynn in Vegas. OK, this buffet is what put this casino on the map.

Lobster and Seafood Extravaganza

Thursdays • 4PM - 11PM

Pechanga Buffet guests can enjoy their fill of all you can eat, one-and-one-quarter pound whole Maine lobster done in an East Coast lobster bake style with roasted potatoes and corn on the cob. From 4PM to close at 11PM, diners receive a piping hot lobster bake bag containing the just-cooked lobster (flown in from Maine the night before) and fixings.
Guests can also fill their plates with enhanced buffet seafood selections from the upgraded sushi station, a whole-salmon carving station, fresh and baked oyster station, snow crab, fish tacos, ceviche, calamari, Dungeness crab, clam chowder, shrimp and much more.

Krystle Schenk – Pechanga Buffet Chef

As many as 1,400 people can come through the Pechanga Buffet doors each day. They’re all there to enjoy the international array of foods Chef Krystle Schenk and her team prepares around the clock for the popular restaurant. Chef Krystle Schenk describes herself as always feeling completely comfortable in the kitchen. She fondly remembers spending time with her mom and sisters making holiday dishes during family get togethers.
She took Introduction to Cooking classes in high school, but her decision to follow her culinary passion came long before. “It was the only thing I was ever really interested in.” Krystle enrolled in the Art Institute of California in Orange County and began working toward her culinary degree. She worked in restaurants in the Palm Springs area then traded in the desert heat to work at Pechanga. When the head buffet chef position presented itself in the summer of 2019, Krystle saw an opportunity to again expand her culinary prowess. She always brings her cooking back to her guests.
